Victor Gregory Myers
Victor is an associate attorney in the firm with a primary focus on Criminal and Civil Litigation.
Victor and his twin brother were born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and his parents lived in the neighboring city of Greensburg. Victor’s family relocated to Eastern Pennsylvania after the Volkswagen Plant where both of his parents worked closed. Victor grew up in the small town of Bowmansville, a simple farming community near Lancaster, Pennsylvania. At a young age, Victor enjoyed playing music. He studied and played the piano, bass, and even the tuba. He also enjoyed playing baseball and running.
Both Victor and his twin followed in their older brother’s footsteps and attended Franklin & Marshall College from 2005-2009. During that time, Victor explored his interest in the Earth-Sciences combined with a focus on government and policy-based courses. He also minored in Italian to fulfill his goal of speaking in the language with his grandfather, a native Italian. Inspired by one of his peers, Victor decided train and run in a marathon. During the fall of his senior year at F&M, Victor accomplished his goal and completed the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, D.C.
After graduating from Franklin & Marshall, Victor was given the excellent opportunity with the help of his parents, to travel to Istanbul, Turkey with his former roommate and Turkish citizen. Once he returned home, Victor worked for two years to save money in preparation for his next step in life. During this time, Victor trained and completed the Rock and Roll Half Marathon in Philadelphia, as it was easier on his joints than his previous race.
With the guidance of his uncle, a former attorney and sitting Judge in Westmoreland County, Victor decided to go to law school. In 2011, he was accepted and attended Ohio Northern University’s Pettit College of Law. While in law school, Victor learned of his passion for criminal law and focused on courses in that subject. During his senior year, Victor was also elected by his peers to be Vice President of the college’s Student Bar Association. This position allowed Victor the opportunity to take on a leadership role in budgeting student functions and planning events for the student body.
After graduating from law school in May, 2014, Victor passed the Bar Exam and was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar Association in October, 2014. Victor then began working for Galloway•Monzo in February, 2015. This opportunity has gave Victor the tremendous experience of learning from those who are excellent examples of people in the profession. One such individual even worked with Victor’s great uncle, an inspirational attorney who passed away when Victor was very young.
Currently Victor’s practice revolves around litigation with his focus on criminal defense, family, and related civil matters.
